Dale King became Tacoma Rail’s superintendent in 2008. Previously he served as Weyerhaeuser’s director of rail services, and has also worked for Burlington Northern Railroad. As the head of Tacoma Rail, Dale oversees one of the country’s largest short-line railroads.
As Government Affairs Manager Evette works on economic development and now works closely with staff members and elected officials of Pierce County’s municipal agencies. Other priority areas are transportation infrastructure, jobs, partnerships and land use. Throughout her time at the Port, two consistent themes continue — her passion for the Port and making Pierce County a better place to live, work, visit and play.

The WTC Tacoma is pleased to welcome Jeff Jagosh, Dale King, and Evette Mason to the Board. With the support of these new members, the WTC Tacoma will continue to grow trade in the Pacific Northwest, by supplying trade services to its members and community.
